Darryl Piggee
Mr. Piggee received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College in 1979. He received his J.D. degree from the California University School of Law in 1982. He also served as President of the Student Bar.
Mr. Piggee was a lawyer in private practice, in Missouri and California from 1982-2001. He concentrated on real estate law, probate and estate planning, political campaign and election law, and sports and entertainment law. Mr. Piggee was counsel for local and state elected officials as well as local community organizations. Mr. Piggee proposed and wrote legislation for local and state law, and coordinated city-wide tax campaigns and petition drives, and also led voter education projects
In 2001 Mr. Piggee was the Legislative Assistant to James Shrewsbury, President of the St. Louis Board of Aldermen, responsible for coordinating legislation and liaison to all twenty members of the Board of Aldermen.
Currently, Mr. Piggee is the District Director and Counsel for Congressman William Lacy Clay, where he has served since 2001. He is legal counsel and lead person for two local offices for the 1st Congressional District, responsible for constituent services and interaction with local and state government, and Supervisor for 12 employees.
